What is important to me…?
As a child of God and minister, what is important to me is to be pleasing to God. I want to always remember that it is His glory, His love and power flowing thru yielded vessels that produces life and repentance and nothing of myself but to Him all glory and honor. I want to go "lower still" so that He will be exalted. I believe that in many religious circles we have forgotten that it is about Jesus and not ourselves.
In these days we have so many religions and opinions bombarding our minds that if we are not careful the word of God says even the elite will be fooled. I want to be sensitive to the voice of the Spirit of God telling me go here, go there. I want to be a God pleaser and not a man pleaser.
I believe that if I am in a good relationship with my Lord and Savior my other relationships will flow from there. If I am passionate for God the compassion for others will be automatic. We value titles and how we can recite the word of God, but are we living it? Are others, especially the people looking at me the so called Christian, really seeing Jesus in Me. Are we attracting people to the Lord or to ourselves and away from God? If we are humble before God, I believe we can walk with authority and in the spiritual realm the demons will know that Christ in us is moving with us and thru us.
True worship in spirit and in truth is a life style of surrender to what He wants. What is important to me is that He be pleased with me and all other things will fall into place.
